Overview of Research

Our group works on the rational design and manufacturing of materials, components, and devices for energy storage and energy conversion applications. Our design and manufacturing innovations are built upon the process-structure-property relationship at all three levels.  We explore the combination of experiment, simulation, and artificial intelligence to accelerate the design and discovery of energy storage/conversion systems with higher performance, reliability, and lower cost.
