Adventure with Piney Joe

My work with Piney Tribe over the last two years have been a very honorable experience. I was initially tasked to design about 12 idiom pictures, where the picture drawn ties into the Piney name for one of New Jersey's native plants for stickers. They were so well received that the creator of Piney Tribe asked me to be the illustrator of his young readers book and a coloring book. The upcoming new book teaches kids about the flora and fauna of the New Jersey Pinelands. In print in March 2022 by one of the divisions within Stockton University. The character of the book, a woodland gnome named Piney Joe, has been sold all over New Jersey, as various items at book stores, museums, as well as a life-size wooden cutout of the character attached to a little free library for kids. It's truly been a surreal experience providing direction in art for my future.
