Purpose
This assignment was a way for us to learn how to conduct effective searches, judge the legitimacy of resources, and identify misinformation when doing research. We were supposed to individually research countries outside of the US and compare and contrast them in an effective way.

For this assignment I chose to research The Philippines. One thing I found out about this country is that The Philippines is divided into 17 regions, which are further subdivided into 81 provinces, 145 cities, 1,489 municipalities, and 42,036 neighborhood barangays (barrios)

Lessons Learned
I have learned how to see when information can be considered factual or opinion based on the wording of the statement. I also know how to find information I'm looking for in a more effective way using CCBC databases.
