Welcome! I'm Shantanu Sardar, and I'm a postdoctoral fellow at CONICET. I work at UNMDP in Argentina with Prof. Sonia Elisabet Trepode. Prior to this, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Rabeya Basu at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune. I was a PhD student under Prof. Amit Shekhar Kuber in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), Kanpur, India. I took a course at IITK on the representation theory of groups as part of my PhD coursework. After going to a workshop at the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) in India, my interest in symmetry led me to the representation theory of groups and algebras. My PhD thesis is available here.
