Teaching ECE 4580/6580: VLSI Design Automation Algorithms Course at Clemson
[August 20, 2025]
I am teaching ECE 4580/6580: VLSI Design Automation Algorithms course this Fall. The course will introduce students to the world of modern chip design, covering fundamentals of MOSFETs and CMOS logic, layout design, design automation with Verilog HDL, and memory technologies. With hands-on labs and projects using industry-standard tools, the course will prepare students to tackle real-world challenges in microchip design and optimization.
Joined the ECE Department at Clemson University as Assistant Professor
[August 15, 2025]
I have joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University as a Tenure-track Assistant Professor from Fall 2025. At Clemson, I will be establishing my own research group, the CO-DESIGN (Circuit Optimization & Device Engineering for Scalable Integrated Nanoelectronics) Lab, focusing on emerging nanoelectronic devices, circuit–system co-design, and advanced computing technologies.
Received the TCE Graduate Research Award
[May 1, 2025]
I have been honored with the 2025 Tickle College of Engineering Graduate Research Award at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This prestigious award is presented to one outstanding graduate student across all engineering departments in recognition of exceptional research achievements.
Defended My PhD Dissertation
[May 1, 2025]
I have successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation in Electrical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The title of my dissertation is "Reimagining Cryogenic Computing with Superconducting and Topological Devices". I am deeply grateful to my advisor, committee members, collaborators, family, and friends for their constant support throughout this journey.
