My brother Adeeb is 3 years older than me, and from a young age, I always looked out for him. He’s my best friend, and growing up, I became aware of the severe lack of understanding about autism in our society. This ignorance often leads to mistreatment and alienation of people like Adeeb, and for children with special needs living in poverty, the situation is even worse, as they face abuse, bullying, and harmful superstitions. This reality motivated me to dedicate myself to raising awareness about autism and advocating for better understanding and support. After volunteering for different special education schools, I finally created Project Bornali, a non profit organization dedicated to this cause.
