Lecturer and Researcher

I am a Lecturer in the Department of Computing at the Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad, Pakistan. My work combines teaching, research, and student mentorship, with a focus on advancing innovative and intelligent computing technologies that address real-world challenges.

Originally from Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, I developed a strong appreciation for curiosity, resilience, and lifelong learning, which continue to guide my academic and research journey.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI). During my master's studies, I conducted research in the Communications over Sensors (ComSens) Research Laboratory, CUI, Islamabad, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nadeem Javaid, where I developed a strong foundation in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity research.

Before joining IST, I worked as a Research Associate at ComSens Lab, Department of Computer Science, CUI, for three years, followed by roles as a Lecturer and Academic Program Coordinator at Iqra University Islamabad. These experiences strengthened my expertise in research, teaching, academic leadership, and student mentorship.

I am passionate about continuous learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and conducting impactful research that addresses real-world challenges. Through my academic and research endeavors, I aspire to contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging computing technologies while collaborating with researchers worldwide to create innovative and meaningful solutions.
