This Privacy Policy applies to the HerbDryer mobile application ("the Application"), developed by Shakeel Shah ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Application is designed and built from the ground up as a 100% offline utility.
HerbDryer does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or sensitive user data.
No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect names, email addresses, contact lists, photos, precise or approximate locations, or any personally identifiable information (PII).
No Device Identifiers or Telemetry: We do not collect device IDs, Advertising IDs (AAID/GAID), IP addresses, or hardware signatures.
No Third-Party Analytics or Trackers: The Application does not contain third-party SDKs, analytics packages (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics), or behavioral tracking frameworks.
No In-App Advertising: The Application contains no advertisements and integrates no ad networks.
Any information you input into the Application—such as garden harvest logs, drying timers, and preference settings (e.g., Celsius vs. Fahrenheit toggles)—is stored solely and exclusively in your device's local memory (local sandbox storage).
This data never leaves your device.
We have no access to your locally saved preferences or logs.
Uninstalling the Application or clearing the app storage via your device settings will permanently remove all locally stored preferences and logs.
The Application requires zero invasive permissions:
No internet access permission (android.permission.INTERNET) is needed or utilized for the core functionality of the Application.
No access to camera, microphone, contacts, location, or external storage.
The Application is safe for all audiences, including children. Because we do not collect, process, or transmit personal data from any user, the Application complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Google Play Families Policy.
We may periodically update our Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or platform updates. Any revisions will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
