I am a PhD student at the University of Oxford, scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2027.

My research lies in geometric group theory, a field that studies groups through the geometry of the spaces on which they act. The central philosophy is that geometric properties of a space reflect algebraic properties of its symmetry group, and vice versa. This idea, which originated in the study of manifolds, has evolved to encompass general metric spaces.

I think about CAT(0) spaces, hyperbolicity and its generalisations, Dehn functions of spaces and groups and quasiisometric embeddings between spaces.

Here is my CV (updated January 2026).
