About me
I am a mechanical and manufacturing engineering professional with expertise spanning metal additive manufacturing, advanced machining and surface finishing technologies. I completed my Ph. D. at IIT Tirupati, where my research focused on improving the surface morphology of parts manufactured by various metal additive manufacturing techniques using advanced abrasive finishing processes by developing an innovative polysaccharide-based abrasive medium. I hold an M.Tech. in Manufacturing Engineering from SVNIT Surat and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from RGUKT Nuzvid, both completed with distinction. Over the years, I have authored multiple SCI-indexed journal publications, international conference papers, and book chapters. I am also an inventor of an Indian patent related to polysaccharide based abrasive finishing media for metal additive-manufactured components.
Currently, I work as a Manager at m2nxt solutions Pvt. Ltd., where I lead process development, toolpath planning, metallurgical evaluation, and fabrication of complex components for defence, aerospace, and automotive applications. My work involves refining DED process parameters, improving mechanical properties, reducing lead times, and collaborating with clients to choose the right AM technologies for mission-critical applications.
Earlier, I served as an Assistant Professor and a Teaching Assistant at IIT Tirupati, and spent over 6 years as a Subject Matter Expert supporting global learners in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. My research interests include laser-based Direct Energy Deposition, Liquid Metal Jetting, Extreme High-pressure Laser Cladding, Abrasive Flow Finishing, post-processing of metal additive-manufactured parts, and Electric Discharge Machining.
I am deeply passionate about integrating cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, enhancing process reliability, and building strong industry–academia collaborations to accelerate innovation in the additive manufacturing ecosystem.
