A member of the Core Group, an exclusive group of 8 research assistants/associates out of 50 within the LUMS Energy Institute, who have shown a marvelous performance in executing multidisciplinary projects and grant writing.
Developing "Pakistan’s New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) Policy (2025-2030)" with the collaboration of the Ministry of Climate Change and Ministry of Industries and Production. Member of the technical working group, focusing on charging infrastructure development and promotion of accelerated NEV adoption or demand creation.
Led and proposed the project "Grid Modernization through Multi-Microgrid Based Virtual Power Plants," funded by the University Research Council. PI: Dr. Naveed Arshad, Role: Team Lead—project ideation and execution (tools used: Python, ANN, and HOMER). The final paper is submitted to IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid.
Conducted research on "Sustainable Energy Transition Framework through Integrated Renewable Energy Sources Coupled with Different Energy Storage Technologies across Various Forecasting Horizons," published in Journal of Energy Storage (Tools used: ANN, STLF, Python, and HOMER).
Awarded a project "Development of Large-Language Model Assistance Program for Domain-specific Insights Retrieval of Energy Consumption" under Faculty Initiative Fund 2023. PI: Dr. Waqar Ahmad (status: Under Execution).
Co-proposed and awarded a project, "A Framework to Quantify the Degradation Modes of a Lithium-ion Cell," under the Faculty Initiative Fund 2024-2025. PI: Dr. Naveed Arshad (status: Under Execution).
Conducted monitoring and evaluation of research team performance involved in corresponding research projects.
Ensured adherence to institutional policies and research ethical standards during the execution of research projects.
Managed projects and ensured timely completion of research proposals, projects, and their submissions.
Led efforts to publish research findings and papers on various platforms, including conferences and journals.

Contributed to the project titled “Net-metering System in Pakistan: Issues, Solutions, and Way Forward," funded by the Indus Consortium for Humanitarian, Environment, and Development.
Held responsibility for developing methodologies, processing data, calculating economic parameters, and drafting papers.
Produced a research paper titled "Evaluation of Net Metering: Current Status, Issues, and Way Forward Amid Economic Crisis in Developing Countries: A Case Study of Pakistan."
PI: Dr. Syed Ali Abbas Kazmi
Contributed to the project titled "A Sustainable Grid Energy Moderation Framework across 2050 Horizon in Pakistan," funded by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (Tools used: MATLAB, PDFA, HOMER).
Developed the methodology, conducted simulations, and prepared the research paper.
Project: Mutual benefit analysis of price-responsive demand response program through heuristic algorithm by scheduling of multi-classifier residential unit under TOU tariff regulation.
Conducted a study on the benefits of a price-responsive demand response model.
Examined multi-objectives encompassing energy cost, peak to average ratio, load factor, and sensitivity analysis.
Published in the Electrical Engineering journal with an impact factor of 1.63 (Tools used: MATLAB).
Project: Development of an intelligent algorithm for efficient use of energy using tackling the load uncertainty method in smart grid.
Integrated inclining block rates with real-time tariffs.
Aimed to decrease energy consumption costs and peak to average ratio.
