We aim to solve the problem of commercial surveillance under night time conditions by bringing up a custom, low cost and reliable starlight camera system. The development involves a custom PCB for our camera, novel ML approaches for low light image enhancement and deployment of such techniques on edge platform Kontron BL i.mx8m based around NXP i.mx8m CPU.
It is an industry sponsored project with budget and resources provided by Laser and Electro Optical Solutions (LEOS), Pvt Ltd, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
