Nope, you don't have to. Because we have a spray bottle.

It's a combination of interlocking and crochet. 

Do you do instant locks as well? 

Yes, we absolutely do. 

Can you combine locks? 

Yes and no, it really depends on the lock density and condition. We greatly recommend a hands-on consultation first.

Do you start Wicks on clients that already currently have locks by combining them?

No, we no longer start Wicks by combining them. However we can maintain it, depending on the condition, as long as it's not defragmenting; and fallen apart.

Do you start Wicks on people that have afros, straight hair or loose curly hair? 

Yes, as long as we don't have to add any hair to yours. 

Do you reinstall locks that was cut out of someone's hair? 

Yes, we absolutely do. What you at first have to do a hands-on consultation, and bring the locks that you had cut off with you. We have to fill the density of the locks, and see its condition. As well as we have to see if you're here as long enough, to reinstall it. The left varies on the texture, Woody hair minimum 4 inches to reattach. All other hair textures minimum is 7 inches or more, that is the reattach locks that was cut out.

Can you take locks out if you change your mind, that is after just starting them?

Yes, but you will lose a little bit of hair removing them. 

Is a service normally one on one, or are you working on many people's locs at one time? 

You get all of our Master Loctician's time and attention, the service 1 one 1.

Do you do Lint removal, that is deeply embedded in the shaft of the locks?

No, we do not.

Yes, but it's not recommended until after 2 weeks. If you wash it before that, it can become very frizzy, and or loose. 

Can I use conditioner on moisturizer on my starter locks?

No, only a sulfate free shampoo. 

How often should I have my locs maintained by your company? 

Everything 6 weeks, but beyond this time period there is an extra $35 added for service.

Do I have to cover my locks at night? 

Yes, to keep the hair from becoming greatly frizzy, weak at the root; and to avoid excessive lint collection on your locks.

Should I use a blow dryer to dry my locs?

No, air dryer locks. Do not wash your hair at night time, wash it early in the morning. So you have all day for it to air dry. Do not rub the locs with the towel, or walk around with a towel wrapped around your locks. Walking around with a towel wrapped around your locks, and not letting the dry properly can cause mildew. Just simply squeeze with the towel, then let air dry. 

Can you go back and forth between lock maintenance methods, palm roll and interlocking? 

Yes and No, you absolutely can, but it's not recommended.

How long does it interlocking method normally hold up for maintenance? 

Normally about 3 to 6 weeks, time varies on hair texture.

Is the maintenance more on people with straight hair?

Yes, because it takes longer; and a lot more goes into the maintenance.

What method do you use to maintain the hair of people with tight curls, or wooly hair? 

We use the interlocking method.

What method do you use to maintain the locks on people with straight, or loose curly hair? 

It will be a combination of the interlocking and crochet method. 

Will I receive instructions on basic self lock maintenance, after my starter lock session? 

Yes, you absolutely will.

How often should I wash my dreadlocks? 

Minimum every 2 weeks. 

When should I do a deep cleansing apple cider vinegar wash? 

Every other wash, you want to alternate the wash cycle. Just put the apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle, first completely saturate the hair in the shower, basin or sink for about 5 minutes. That way you don't have to dilute the organic apple cider vinegar. Shake the vinegar up well that is in your spray bottle, spray on the scalp and locks evenly. After about 5 minutes, be sure to rinse the apple cider vinegar out thoroughly, about two or three times.

What maintenance method do you specialize in, palm rolling, interlocking, or something else? 

We specialize in the interlocking method. 

What should I do if I have excessive lint buildup embedded in the shaft of my locks? 

Have your locks permanently dyed back to its original color. To fade the appearance of the lint, that is embedded.

Is there a fee for a hands-on consultation? 

Yes, the fee is: $35 

Does a consultation fee go towards the service?

Yes and no, It depends if you get your hair done the same day afterwards, then yes it would. But If you make a future appointment, no it will not.

Do y'all offer refunds on deposits? 

No, deposits are non refundable, or transferable.

If we cancel having you'll travel to us to do our locks, can we get the travel feed back?

Loc repair is $35 per lock.

If you put a deposit down to get your locks started from scratch, then something came up that you have to reschedule. Do you have to put down another deposit, to reschedule?

Yes, only if you called within about 24 hours of your appointment to reschedule, you only get one reschedule on that type of deposit.

Do you have parking at this location? 

Yes, but however parking is limited to one space.

No, as long as you don't sign the release waiver form of your image.

Yes, we absolutely do. We have a daily mist spray, sleep cap, soap the wash the hair; and we also have a lock accelerator spray.
