What we do

Shafkat Canvas, a virtual art gallery in Chattogram, Bangladesh, was founded in 2019 as a personal passion project. However, it has now evolved into a thriving commercial art gallery. This platform offers an extensive collection of paintings at reasonable and competitive rates.

Founder & CEO

I have always been passionate about drawing and painting from a very young age. While I initially pursued it as a curricular activity during my primary school years, it soon became a true passion of mine when I reached high school (class 6).

My mentor, Shawpon Via, played a key role in guiding and inspiring me along the way. In 2017, I completed a two-year course in Fine Arts at Chattogram Zilla Shilpokala Academy. Since 2019, I have been proudly managing Shafkat Canvas, which aims to become an internationally recognized brand in the future.

As a CEO, I leverage my experience in painting to assist clients in beautifying their homes, offices, or rooms with paintings. I help them find suitable decorations to enhance their space. My philosophy is based on continuity, resilience, and simplicity, resulting in elegant and sophisticated works that can withstand the test of time. When I'm not drawing, you can find me tending to my garden, taking care of my budgerigar birds, and looking after the fishes in my aquarium. I am also proud to have received the President's Scout Award, the highest award in Bangladesh Scouts.

Md Sadakat Sajid

Head of Marketing & Sales

Sajid is an integral member of the team at SHAFKAT CANVAS, providing the structural foundation that allows our creativity to thrive. With expertise in organization, he plays a vital role in daily marketing operations, process development, and project management. His analytical mindset and technical proficiency are key drivers behind our consistent delivery and outstanding results.

In addition to his operational role, Sajid is also an artist, skilled in pencil sketching and watercolor painting, bringing a unique blend of creativity and precision to the team. Outside of work, he enjoys practicing Karate—in which he holds a Brown Belt—and playing Badminton in his leisure time.
