My favorite travel destination is Saint Martin's Island in Bangladesh. My undergraduate university was in Sylhet, which is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Bangladesh. As a result, I got to travel and explore more. Whenever I can manage time and money, I go out and see new places. 

I like to explore and try out food from different places and cultures. In Bangladesh, different types of local regions are famous for different types of dishes. My favorite foods are: Beef Bhuna, Beef Nehari, Khichuri with Egg and Olive pickles, Paratha with poached eggs and beef, Kacchi Biriyani, Ruti and Potato vaji. I like my foods when they are extremely spicy. Food is one of the ways I deal with stress. And my motto is, when everything goes wrong, have some desserts. 

Science Fiction and Fantasy these two genre are my most favorite ones. I grew up reading Harry Potter and am still waiting for my letter from Hogwarts. In high school I was a member of the "Bishwa Shahitya Kendro". They encourage book reading among all people. Through this organization, I was introduced with classics like Robinson Crusoe, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Jules Verne etc as well as classics from Bengali literature like "Pather Pachali", "Sriknato", "Feluda" etc. I received two awards from their "High School Book Reading Program". Every year in February, the "Bangla Academy" arranges the largest book fair in Bangladesh. The fair takes place for the whole month of February. It's a regular thing for me to visit the fair every year and buy as much reading material as possible.
