1. Book Chapter on Handbook of Cancer and Immunology: Host Immune Gene Polymorphism and Cancer

I and my MS thesis supervisor Professor Dr. Yearul Kabir wrote this book chapter reviewing the polymorphism studies conducted on various cancers. Special emphasis was poured on the Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs). SNPs can play special role in early and cheap detection of cancer as well as contain immense potential in predicting susceptibility, prognosis, survival and drug response.

2. Review on Phytochemistry, Pharmacological activity, and Potential Health Benefits of Glycyrrhiza glabra

Our team and I investigated and studied all the reported characteristics of the mentioned medicinal plant and thoroughly forecasted their possible future implications along with the already practiced uses. We walked through nearly 100 published scientific papers and prepared the review article based on the collected information.

3. Structural analogs of existing anti-viral drugs inhibit SARS-CoV-2 RNA dependent RNA polymerase: A computational hierarchical investigation

We have investigated the structural analogs of the FDA-approved anti-viral drugs to check for their ability and efficacy to inhibit the activity of RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of novel coronavirus that is responsible for the pandemic causing disease Covid-19 and thereby to treat the disease. I myself looked for the analogs of Favipiravir, Galidesivir, and Sofosbuvir from Swiss similarity, prepared macromolecule as well as the ligands on swiss PDB and PyMol, performed the virtual screening on PyRx, and later collected their ADMET properties from pkCSM. While manuscript writing, I wrote the Abstract and the Introduction part and significantly contributed to compiling the methodology section.

4. Letter to the Editor

I wrote a letter to the editor describing my concerns regarding the psychological effects of COVID-19 on the children of frontiers, especially the nurses. In my view, this became a burning issue during the pandemic in the poor economic countries like Bangladesh where the economy was badly struck with the lockdown.
