Entering The Drowned Fae is like stepping into a hidden sanctuary beneath still waters. The air is warm and softly perfumed with mineral steam, fragrant oils, and damp stone. Lanternlight glows through curling veils of mist, reflecting across stone floors and pools that shimmer with gentle ripples.
Low conversation, soft laughter, and the distant trickle of spring water echo through the chamber. Vines and carved stone arches frame the bathing halls, while attendants move with quiet grace between pools of steaming water and the slow glow of the infernal lava basin reserved for heat-born guests.
Visitors are welcomed into an atmosphere of tranquil indulgence where the outside world fades, and the rhythm of warm water, quiet service, and drifting steam invites the body to relax and the mind to wander.

Practitioners of the Waters
Specialists are skilled practitioners whose expertise forms the heart of the Drowned Fae's services. Each Specialist studies one or more of the Waters—Refinement, Restoration, Serenity, Adornment, or Transformation—offering guests personalized care, craftsmanship, and memorable experiences. Whether providing grooming, massage, glamours, cosmetics, or other specialized services, Specialists are expected to embody professionalism, hospitality, and attentiveness.

Apprentices & House Staff
Attendants are the foundation of The Drowned Fae and often the first step toward becoming a Specialist. They assist with the upkeep of the House, support Specialists during services, help prepare treatment spaces, and guide guests throughout the facility. Through service and training, Attendants learn the traditions of the Waters while developing the skills needed to pursue a discipline of their own.

Throughout the bathhouse, guests may encounter the quiet presence of the house’s nymph servitors. These gentle water spirits manifest naturally from the enchanted springs that feed The Drowned Fae. Appearing as translucent figures of flowing water and soft luminescent mist, the nymphs drift gracefully through the halls and pools.
They are not formal staff, yet they instinctively assist both guests and employees. A nymph might refill a basin, warm a towel, gather scattered bathing oils, or guide a guest toward an open pool. Their presence is calm and unobtrusive, often accompanied by the faint sound of rippling water or a cool whisper of mist.
Many visitors find their quiet attentions to be one of the most enchanting aspects of the bathhouse.
