hello! my name is court and this is my writing space. i am 30+, and my pronouns are she / her / hers. i live in new york in the EST time zone. as for this blog? i run a low - activity multimuse blog with canon muses from television, literature, films, and video games and original characters from a variety of fandoms as well as ones from no fandom at all. i do not own or have any affiliation with the characters or the media they come from, but all headcanons and original characters are my own. i'm happy to discuss headcanons but please don't take mine as your own!
this blog is private & iconless. all of my posts will have a banner with my url and a banner with the name of the character the response is from. finding the perfect icon for a thread is . . . not fun for me, and it takes away from me doing the actual reply. i don't care if you use icons or small gifs, in fact, if that's your style? i encourage it. just know that mine will be completely iconless. unless i'm doing a short thread, then i'll throw in a gif.
i like writing, i like plotting, and i like memes ( both hoarding & replying ). that being said, any and all of those things are welcome here. when it comes to replies, i prefer one paragraph responses, however, most of my starters will be one liners. there can also be the possibility for multiple paragraph responses, if the mood strikes.
plotting!! i love it. however, if we plot something? i want to actually write it. i don't like pre - planning all the events of a relationship, i don't like every single detail of our interactions to be plotted out, because then what's the point of writing? so plotting is great, but vaguely. ideally.
also! i'm big on shipping. i think all of us are. i like romantic, platonic, familial, enemies . . . as long as we can explore and figure out the chemistry? i'm down for it. never hesitate to turn something shippy, because chances are? i'm as down for it as you are.
this blog will work with the beta editor and xkit rewritten ( trim reblogs ). if your post is in legacy editor, i will most likely move it to a new post if trimming gives me a hard time. this is in order to be more inclusive to new blogs who don't have the option to work with legacy editor. also, we all know tumblr is gonna take legacy away at some point? might as well learn now.
this blog runs on a combination of queuing and instantly posting. i will try to figure out exactly how to word how that's going to work . . . but i honestly don't know right now. see the activity section for me attempting to explain this.
as we're all aware, roleplaying is a hobby. it's not a job. my job is teaching in a school for kids with severe disabilities five days a week from 8:00 to 3:30. so while i want to be here a lot? this will take the back burner.
this blog runs on both a queue and with me instantly posting. this will run primarily on "vibes" as stupid as that sounds. but my queue will always be set for at least a week ( 21 posts per week ). my focus muses and anything for my mains will be released instantly unless a main has specifically requested that i queue things. this will probably change. but for now . . . that's what we're going with.
i most likely will not be following back everyone who follows me! this is nothing personal, but i really want to follow people that i know i am going to write with. if i can't see us writing together, i probably won't follow.
in some cases, i will definitely follow first. but for the most part, i won't. i also would love to befriend my mutuals! if we're mutuals, let's chat. discord is available, as are the instant messages even if they aren't the most reliable system.
this should go without saying? but i'm going to say it anyway. this blog also does not support racism, homophobia, transphobia, incest, pedophilia, or any other icky rp community behavior. thanks!
also, if any of these guidelines seem unclear? please get in touch with me and i'll gladly offer any clarification. hope to write with you soon!
as someone who is legal all around the world, mature themes will be present on this blog. i am recently becoming more comfortable writing smut, and i will potentially explore it? but we have to have a bond out of character as well. a fade to black will also be used as an option. also, mature themes will obviously only occur with characters who are of age. most of my muses are over eighteen in the verses where i write them, but more information will be available soon.
