 Let's share a Shabbat experience for tots 2-7 years-old and families linking Shabbat, Jewish values and mindfulness.  

Songs, stories and tools to manage stress, build focus and foster gratitude with a goal to growing resilience and optimism in your child and your family. 

Dates for 2023-24: 10/14, 10/28, 11/18, 12/2, 12/16, 1/6, 1/20, 2/3, 3/2, 3/16, 4/6, 5/4, 5/18.

-Expand the Jewish experiences of your family beyond Shabbat and holiday songs and rituals by grounding mindfulness tools in Jewish thought and values and encouraging their use throughout the week.

Forest Hills Jewish Center

Early Childhood Program

Our child-centered Early Childhood Program including 3K and Pre-K programs provide a warm, well-balanced, and nurturing general education, and offer a rich Judaic curriculum as well. 

Religious School

Our K-12 Religious School engages children and families in a creative and meaningful exploration of our Jewish traditions, community, prayer and Hebrew so that each child can thrive. 

PJ Library

Many of the books we read at Shabbat on the Stoop are from PJ Library.  PJ Library sends free, award winning children's books that celebrate Jewish values and culture to families with children from birth through 12 years old. Marcy has been living and working in Forest Hills for over 20 years. She is the music specialist in FHJC's Religious School and leads the school minyan as well as Junior Congregation.
