Laila Shaaban (she/her)

Hi! I am a first-year statistics Ph.D. Student at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) in the MSCS department. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and obtained dual bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Health Technology in May 2025. I have experience in cybersecurity, public health, biomedical research, and other significant areas.

In my free time I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with my cat, Bubs (pictured below).
