Welcome! I am a new Assistant Professor in the math department at UNT.
Previously, I was a postdoc in the research group of Anton Mellit, a Krener Assistant Professor of Math at UC Davis mentored by Erik Carlsson, a Postdoctoral Fellow at ICERM in Spring 2021 mentored by Leonardo Mihalcea, and a Visiting Lecturer at UCSD in Fall 2020 mentored by Brendon Rhoades.
I received my PhD in math from University of Washington in 2020, where I was advised by Sara Billey. Before that, I received an AB from Dartmouth College, where I completed an honors thesis in math advised by Rosa Orellana.
My research interests lie in algebraic combinatorics and combinatorial algebraic geometry.
Not to be confused with Sean D. Griffin, the former postdoctoral fellow at Dartmouth in Russian literature.
