The Shenandoah Gap lies on the west slope of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, just north of Shenandoah, Virginia. An organized subdivision in Page County, the Gap dates back to 1969, with four sections added over the years. The subdivision consists of a mix of full-time residents, vacation homes, and short-term rentals.
Perched above the Shenandoah River, the Gap includes private river frontage available for homeowners and guests. Members of the Shenandoah Gap community also have access to a private 400 acre hunting/recreation preserve. The preserve is not available to guests of short-term rental units.
The subdivision is guided by the Shenandoah Gap Property Owners' Association (SGPOA), whose primary purpose is to provide for the maintenance, safety, and governance of the neighborhood. Part of that role is ensuring homeowners have access to the critical information and news they need to stay safe and healthy, and to contribute to the community’s overall well-being.
We hope that this website will serve as a useful tool for the SGPOA Board, homeowners, and short-term rental property owners alike as we make communication with residents easier and more transparent.
