About Legacy - Paintings

These paintings evolved over six months, emerging from an exploration of the layers that quietly shape a life, emotional, cultural, inherited. I was drawn to the darkness beneath the paint, the residue of memory and experience that both anchors and seeps through the surface.

The forms and colours that emerged are shaped as much by what lies beneath as by what appears above. These works trace the interplay between presence and shadow, between what is visible and what endures unseen, marking the beginnings of ideas that continue to unfold.
