CAPS Program (PM)

CAPS is an after-school program dedicated to supporting students academically, socially, and personally. Students have access to homework assistance, enrichment activities, recreation, leadership opportunities, college and career readiness support, and a safe place to build meaningful connections with peers and staff. Whether students are exploring new interests, developing skills, or preparing for their future, CAPS provides opportunities for growth beyond the school day.

Program Hours:
• Monday: 2:50 PM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday – Friday: 3:35 PM – 6:00 PM

School Year Sign-In Locations:
• Monday: H4 & H5
• Tuesday – Friday: Cafeteria (after school)

What We Offer:

🍎 Supper Provided – Served daily at 3:45 PM (Monday - Friday).

📚 Homework Block – Dedicated time for academic support.

🎲 Recreation Block – Fun and engaging activities.

💡 Enrichment/STEAM Block – Hands-on learning and creativity.

🖌️ Creative Minds

Room H5 is a space for students to design, craft, and create. Whether it's arts, design projects, or hands-on crafts, this room is all about bringing creative ideas to life.

🎮 Gamer’s Lounge

Room H4 is a place to unwind and connect through games. Students can enjoy friendly competition, teamwork, and strategy while engaging in board games, video games, and other interactive activities.

Ms. Jennifer Soto

Hi, I’m Ms. Jennifer! I am the Site Coordinator for our EXL Afterschool program at San Gorgonio Highschool. I am passionate about helping others feel supported and providing guidance. I love creating a safe and positive space where everyone feels welcomed and encouraged to grow. Whether you’re exploring new interests, hobbies, trying out new enriching activities, building friendships, or preparing to achieve big dreams, I’m here to guide and cheer you on. Our after school program is created for you and it is a privilege to have you here!
