The Department came into existence in the academic year of 2016-17. The college is affiliated to Vijayanagara Shri Krishnadevaraya University, Bellary. Our department has offered B.Com (Computers), B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com (Compulsory Papers), at Under Graduate level with semester system. The department is earnestly trying to promote qualitative higher education through which it can produce the students as beneficiary to the society and to promote them to withstand for the betterment of healthy society. It is also aware of the great bottle neck competition of the modernized computer world. Presently the department is heading by full time faculty who is assessing the progress of students by conducting the internal tests, assignment and through seminar. The department is having more than 564 Volumes 166 Titles books in library for students and the staff.

Aims of the general degree program in Computer Science are to
Provide graduates with basic knowledge in both theory and practice in Computer Science, including current emerging technologies and experimental learning.
Prepare students to contribute to the computing profession upon graduation.
Provide a basis for continued study, and growth in their fields.
The goals of our undergraduate programs are to
Teach students how to use computers effectively, creatively, and intelligently;
Teach computer science as a multifaceted, humanistic discipline of problem solving;
Provide up-to-date curricula in the technical and scientific knowledge needed for the professional and academic goals of our students;
Encourage and participate in interdisciplinary undergraduate educational opportunities.
Teach students how to acquire new knowledge, independently, in a world that changes with ever increasing rapidity;
Provide students with experiential learning opportunities; and
Educate an increasing number of undergraduates in CS to meet the growing demands of the regional and national economy.
