DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY

The department came into the existence along with the establish in 1963 of the S.G.V.V.Ts fist educational institution. The college is affiliated to Vijayanagara sri Krishnadevaraya university Bellary. Over department has offed B.A at under graduate level with semester system. The department is earnestly trying into promote qualitative higher education through which it can produce the students as beneficiary to the society. It is also aware of great bottle neck computation of modernized computer world.

Presently the department is heading by full time faculty who is assessing the progress of the students by conducting the internal tests, assignments and through seminar and department is having more then 3470 books for students and the staff.
