ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

• Under graduate course (B.Sc 1^st ) Started in 1970.

• B.Sc 2^nd and 3^rd year started from 1973,74.

• Chemistry taught as major subject up to 1980.

• From 1980 onwards due to new scheme in curriculum, equal preference has been given to optional subjects therefore Chemistry became part of PCM and CBZ Combination.

• The department has produced countless number of meritorious students.
