About the Department

The Department of Botany has been a part of SGVV Trust's Shri Gavisiddeshwar Arts, Science and Commerce College, Koppal right from its inception in 1963. Botany Department provides positive educational experience and meets the educational needs of every student by continually addressing teaching and learning so that all students reach their maximum potential.

In Botany Department, beginning of every semester curriculum plan is designed to enrich the problem solving skills of the students in the field of Plant Sciences by guiding the educational experience that ensures graduation success. The faculty has undertaken a number of strategic initiatives to make Teaching-Learning process as student friendly.
