An open-source Python package designed to facilitate adsorbent evaluation through isotherm fitting and ideal or non-ideal PSA process simulation .
1. Isotherm Fitting Module (isofit)
Fits adsorption equilibrium data to various isotherm models and selects the most suitable model. It also supports multi-temperature fitting and mixture adsorption prediction using IAST.
2. Ideal PSA Simulation Module (simide)
Rapidly evaluates the theoretical separation performance of an adsorbent under ideal PSA conditions based on adsorption equilibrium data.
3. Real PSA Simulation Module (simsep)
Simulates the dynamic behavior of adsorption columns while accounting for non-ideal effects such as mass-transfer resistance, pressure drop, and heat transfer.
