SFU Deep Agritech is an adhoc collective of plant biologists and computer scientists seeking to establish conversations about critical research problems in plant image analysis and computational agriculture. We invite fellow academics, and interested parties in the public and private sector to reach out and join these conversations. The SFU Deep Agritech collective also wants to acknowledge that our work takes place on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish people, and we strive to reconcile our work with important questions about food systems and food sovereignty and the implications that has for people outside of the academic community.
