International Spring School
"Spectral Function Theory"
April 15-27, 2019
The International Spring School "Spectral Function Theory" will be held at Chebyshev Laboratory (aud. 105 (14)) of St. Petersburg State University from April 15 to 27, 2019. This School is a part of the Program on Spectral Function Theory (Simons Semester).
It will consist in four courses of 6-8 hours each, given by
- Aleksei Aleksandrov, Saint Petersburg
- Alexander Aptekarev, Moscow
- Nikolai Nikolski, Bordeaux
- Mikhail Sodin, Tel Aviv.
The courses present state-of-the art knowledge as well as recent advances on selected topics of Complex analysis, Operator and Spectral theories.
The School primarily targets graduate students and postdocs, but undergraduate students and advanced researchers are also welcome to attend. We plan to organize a special short talks session which will permit to young researches to present their research work..
The School is organized by the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Science in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics of St. Petersburg State University and Chebyshev Laboratory of St. Petersburg State University.
Financial support will be available to cover local expenses for a limited number of students and postdoctoral researchers.
