IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS

First Amendment: Freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition.
Second Amendment: The right to keep and bear arms.
Third Amendment: Prohibits the forced quartering of soldiers in private homes during peacetime without the owner's consent.
Fourth Amendment: Protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.
Fifth Amendment: Protection against self-incrimination, due process of law, and protection against double jeopardy.

Fourteenth Amendment: Contains the Equal Protection Clause and Due Process Clause, which ensure equal treatment under the law and protect fundamental rights at the state level.
