The Dental Examination

A comprehensive oral examination and cleaning are recommended twice a year  for people of all ages. At your initial checkup, we take thoughtful measures, like providing you with complete oral X-rays, to ensure the healthiness of your gums, teeth, and jaw. X-rays are not required for each visit, however, we will notify you if we think they are needed more than once a year. Clients will receive a complete assessment of their mouth, including teeth, gums, tongue, even their jaw and neck, by one of our team members. Our highly skilled staff will examine every tooth, all 32 if you have them, for cavities and plaque. They will also check for damage using a small dental pick and mirror. Close inspections of your gums, such as these allow us to detect any existing gum disease and determine the level of care needed for healthier gums. Our team will examine your entire head to detect other related issues like TMJ disorder. If we determine additional treatment is necessary, we will take more X-rays and diagnose the issue.
