Stephen Ferrigno

I am a third year graduate student in the Brain and Cognitive Science Department at the University of Rochester. I'm a member of the Concepts Actions and Objects Lab working primarily with Dr. Jessica Cantlon.

My current research focuses on what makes humans unique (or not). I investigate the effects of language, education, and cultural influences on cognitive processes such as numerical cognition, metacognition, and categorization in non-human primates, children, US adults, and cross culturally with Tsimane' adults.
