I am interested in the evolutionary and developmental origins of human thought. I am currently working as a post-doctoral fellow in the Laboratory for Developmental Studies with Dr. Susan Carey at Harvard University. My post-doctoral work is focused on investigating the development of complex sequence representation and grammatical abilities in children.
I received my PhD from the department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester under Dr. Jessica Cantlon. My dissertation focused on the evolutionary and developmental origins of number cognition, grammar, logic, and metacognition.
