Room Coordinators

Are you interested in getting involved in a larger capacity with your child/children's classrooms? Consider becoming a Room Coordinator! The PTO has been working hard to create procedures to help streamline events, but we need your help.

Room Coordinators help plan classroom parties (Christmas and End of Year), faculty appreciation lunches, and other grade level events (i.e., Halloween Party, Graduation Receptions, Grandparents Day Reception, etc.). They are the liaison between the PTO and help communicate messages to their grade levels.

Message from the Room Coordinator Chairs

Thank you for considering becoming a Room Coordinator! Volunteering is a great way to connect with other parents and learn the ins and outs of SFDS. 

Becoming a Room Coordinator during our kiddos first year at SFDS (2020-2021) allowed us to meet their classmates' parents, grow friendships, work with the teacher(s), and spend time in the classroom! Nothing brings us more joy than seeing our kids and their classmates learning, creating,  and having fun. 

We hope you will join us! We look forward to working with all of our Room Coordinators.
