This app lets users perform a temperature compensation for SF₆ (sulfur hexafluoride) gas pressure measurements, as well as calculate gas weight. It uses the Beattie-Bridgeman equation of state to determine the pressure of this non-ideal gas.
This app lets users perform a temperature compensation for SF₆ (sulfur hexafluoride) gas pressure measurements, as well as calculate gas weight. It uses the Beattie-Bridgeman equation of state to determine the pressure of this non-ideal gas.
Use the Pressure slider to specify the measured gas pressure
Use the Temperature slider to specify the temperature of the gas
Read the pressure of the gas compensated to 68 ℉ (Standard temperature)
(Optionally) Use the Barometric Pressure or Elevation slider to specify the barometric pressure for refining gauge pressure measurement - critical for gas weight calculations
Use the Temperture slider to specify the temperatue of the gas used for filling equipment
Use the Pressure slider and the Compensated Pressure to determine the fill pressure at the given temperature that matches the fill pressure at 68 ℉ specified by the equipment manufacturer
