The Seychelles islands are the oldest mid- ocean granitic islands on earth. Located in the Indian ocean 4 degrees South 0f the equator and north east of Madagascar. The Seychelles archipelago comprises of 115 islands of which some are granitic islands and the rest are coralline islands.
