I am a Postdoctoral researcher in mechanical engineering specializing in fluid mechanics and fluid-structure interactions. My research focuses on multi-physical phenomena found in nature involving deformations of soft material through elasto-hydrodynamic instability. I have extensive experiences with structural analysis on flow-induced deformations based on flow visualization, low-order numerical calculations, and theoretical modelling that incorporates the complex dynamics of fluid and solid. Leveraging the expertise, I intend to design innovative morphing mechanisms based on pattern control of compliant structures targeted for untethered soft actuators working in fluidic environments.
