Seyed Amin Seyed Haeri is an Assistant Professor of Management in the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration, Coastal Carolina University. He earned his Ph.D. in Supply Chain and Operations Management from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University.

Amin's research interests fall broadly in sustainable operations management and supply chain management. His dissertation focuses on empirically evaluating the role of Operational Flexibility on investments in renewable and conventional electricity generations. For the purpose of his dissertation, Amin collected a unique granular panel data set of investments in different electricity generation technologies for nearly two decades in the U.S. Currently papers from his dissertation are being prepared to be submitted to FT50 journals (i.e., Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management). 

Amin served as the sole instructor of Intermediate Business Statistics for nine consecutive semesters at Clemson University's Powers College of Business. At the Wall College of Business, Coastal Carolina University, he teaches Operations Management.

Prior to his Ph.D. program, Amin co-founded a tech company that developed smart irrigation systems to mitigate agricultural water waste as well as serving as senior consultant for numerous mega-project construction contractors. He also holds a M.S. and B.S. in Industrial Management from Shahid Beheshti University and Shiraz University respectively.
