If you want a dedicated, rugged player that survives submersion and powers your aquatic workouts with 16 hours of battery life, choose SEWOBYE Waterproof MP3; if you need high-fidelity audio isolation for critical listening in a noisy office or on the go without any built-in storage, choose BASN Bmaster Triple Drivers.
• SEWOBYE Waterproof MP3: The standout strength is its IPX8 waterproof rating allowing full submersion up to 10 feet, paired with an impressive 16-hour battery and 8GB internal storage for over 2,000 songs. Its trade-off is the lack of wireless connectivity and its specialized design, which prioritizes swimming mechanics over general office comfort or style. This pick is strictly for swimmers and athletes who get wet.
• BASN Bmaster Triple Drivers: The primary advantage lies in its triple-driver architecture (two dynamic drivers and one balanced armature) delivering deep bass, clear mids, and beautiful treble, along with excellent passive sound isolation that blocks out ambient noise. Its trade-off is that it requires a constant external audio source as it has no internal memory or battery. This pick is ideal for audiophiles and professionals needing silence in chaotic environments.
The SEWOBYE Waterproof MP3 is engineered for a very specific, high-intensity use case: getting into the water. If your daily routine involves laps in a pool, open-water marathons, or perhaps surfing and kayaking where splashes are guaranteed, this device is designed to handle the elements. The build quality speaks directly to these activities; the unit is small enough to clip onto goggle straps or swimsuit bands, keeping it secure while you move. The control buttons feature raised ridges specifically so you can operate the shuffle and playback functions without looking, even with wet fingers or wearing gloves.
For the serious swimmer, the 16-hour playtime is a game-changer. You aren't limited by short charging cycles; you can load your favorite playlists, audiobooks, or training podcasts via USB and leave them there. With 8GB of memory, you have space for thousands of tracks in formats like MP3, WMA, FLAC, and APE without needing to convert files. The included short-cord headphones prevent the common frustration of long wires tangling around your goggles or arms during a stroke. While the screen is tiny at just 0.1 inches, the interface is simple enough to navigate once you read the instructions.
However, this product is not a general-purpose headset. It lacks Bluetooth, meaning it cannot connect wirelessly to your phone for calls or casual listening on a commute. The form factor is utilitarian rather than fashionable, and the earbuds are designed for underwater acoustics and secure fit during vigorous movement, not necessarily for all-day wear in a dry, climate-controlled room. If you are looking for "best foldable earbuds for office" use, this isn't the tool for the job. It is a dedicated piece of sports gear first and foremost. You should buy it if you are tired of expensive wireless buds dying mid-lap or taking on water. You should skip it if you want a single pair of headphones for work, travel, and home use.

The BASN Bmaster Triple Drivers serve a completely different audience: the listener who demands sonic clarity and wants to shut out the world. These are professional-grade In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) built with a hybrid driver setup. By combining two dynamic drivers with a balanced armature, the manufacturer aims to deliver a frequency response that is both powerful and detailed. The result is a sound signature that balances low frequencies richly while maintaining crisp highs and clear midrange vocals. This makes them exceptional for anyone who listens to complex music, needs to hear subtle details in a mix, or simply wants to block out the hum of an air conditioner or chatter of coworkers.
What makes these particularly relevant for the modern office environment is their focus on sound isolation. Unlike active noise-canceling headphones that rely on batteries and microphones, these use physical engineering to seal the ear canal. The ergonomic shape is based on extensive sampling of ear models, ensuring a secure fit that stays put even when you turn your head quickly. They come with a robust kit of accessories, including multiple sizes of silicone tips and memory foam tips, allowing you to dial in a custom seal that maximizes noise reduction. The detachable MMCX cables add versatility; if a cable gets damaged, you can replace just that part rather than the whole set, and the 360-degree rotation helps manage the cable path comfortably behind the ear.
These headphones are wired, using a standard 3.5mm jack with a 6.35mm adapter included, which means they are plug-and-play with almost any laptop, tablet, or phone. There is no battery to charge, so you never have to worry about them dying in the middle of a meeting or a long flight. However, because they have zero internal storage, you must always have a music source connected. If you are looking for "foldable headband headphones for office" that offer a traditional over-the-ear experience, these won't fit that description either. They are in-ears only. You should buy these if you value audio fidelity and noise blocking above convenience features like wireless freedom. You should skip them if you dislike having cables attached to your ears or if you need a device that works independently of a phone.

If I had to choose one device to keep in my bag for a typical week that includes gym time and office work, I would lean toward the BASN Bmaster Triple Drivers for the office portion of my day. The ability to isolate noise physically is invaluable when trying to focus on tasks in a busy workspace, and the sound quality is superior for music lovers who want to hear every instrument clearly. However, for the specific use case of for office workers who also happen to be avid swimmers, the SEWOBYE Waterproof MP3 remains the undisputed king of its niche. But since most people need a headphone solution for the desk first, the BASN wins on versatility for dry environments. Ultimately, I recommend the BASN Bmaster Triple Drivers for anyone who wants premium sound and silence, but I strongly advise buying the SEWOBYE if your primary concern is surviving the pool.
Yes, the BASN Bmaster Triple Drivers excel at this due to their sound isolation design and inclusion of memory foam eartips that create a tight seal. The SEWOBYE Waterproof MP3 does not offer significant passive isolation for dry environments.
No, the SEWOBYE has 8GB of internal memory, allowing you to download music and audiobooks directly from a computer and use it completely independently of a smartphone.
While they stay in place well due to the ergonomic hook and secure fit, they are not waterproof. They are best suited for dry activities like office work, commuting, or studio listening, unlike the SEWOBYE which is built for water exposure.
According to the specifications, the SEWOBYE offers up to 16 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, which takes about 1.5 hours to fully replenish.
