Experience

Having learned to sew as a teenager, over the past 30 years I  have done everything from bridesmaids dresses to dance costumes, curtains to quilting, and hemming to hole repairs. I've also worked in the clothing manufacturing industry, and insist on a professional finish to everything I do.

Why 'Sew Blessed'?

I chose this name for my business to reflect my Christian faith, and also because I feel incredibly blessed to be able to spend my days sewing and being creative!

When I'm not sewing...

As well as being a seamstress I am a Dance Mum and understand the excitement of watching my daughter on stage at dance shows and competitions (and of course the challenge of finding the perfect costume.)

I am an avid collector of vintage sewing machines and sewing memorabilia, and of course I love watching the Great British Sewing Bee.
