She received her Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Uludağ University (Bursa) in 2005, her M.Sc. in Architectural Design from Dokuz Eylül University (İzmir) in 2011, and her Ph.D. from the same department in 2017.
She worked as an architect in various architectural offices in Bursa (2004-2005) and İzmir (2006–2009). Between 2009 and 2015, she served as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Architecture, Yaşar University (İzmir). From 2015 to 2018, she took a career break due to health reasons and childbirth. Between 2018 and 2022, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Interior Architecture at Istanbul Rumeli University.
She is currently a full-time academic and the Head of the Department of Interior Architecture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Toros University. She held the position of Assistant Professor from 2022 to 2024 and has been serving as an Associate Professor since 2024.
Her research interests include inclusive design, architecture and gender studies, architecture and digital fabrication, architectural and design education, and modern architectural design in Turkey.
Her Ph.D. dissertation title: "Original Fake Architectures: In Praise of the Copy in Contemporary Architecture".
Her M.Sc. dissertation title: "Media, Gender and Architecture: Using Gender Context to Evaluate Representations of Kitchen Spaces in Television Commercials".
