SEVI, a brand under MAK Strategic Insights and Consulting (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use the SEVI mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
SEVI, a brand under MAK Strategic Insights and Consulting is the operator of the SEVI app and is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Notice. For privacy questions or requests, please contact us using the contact details at the end of this notice.
We may collect your name and email address when you create or use an SEVI account.
We may collect information such as your chosen subjects, preferred language, daily study goal, and other study preferences you provide.
We may collect information about lessons opened, study minutes, test attempts, scores, progress, and other learning activity so we can provide and improve your personalized study experience.
We may collect subscription plan information, payment status, billing-related information, and transaction details necessary to manage your subscription. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers.
We may collect device and browser information, log data, and approximate location information that may be derived from your IP address or similar technical information.
We may collect messages, emails, feedback, and other information you send to us when you contact support.
· To provide the SEVI app, your account, personalized study plans, progress tracking, and learning features.
· To process payments and manage subscriptions, including payment-related communications.
· To provide support and respond to your requests.
· To keep the Services secure and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
· To improve the content and features of SEVI using aggregated or appropriately de-identified usage data.
· To send service-related communications, such as current-affairs digest notifications, where applicable.
· To comply with applicable legal requirements.
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the app and provide the Services. Depending on the feature you use, these may include:
· Paddle.com — Merchant of Record and payment/subscription processing.
· Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
· Google (via the Lovable AI Gateway) — where applicable, for generated study plans, questions, and summaries.
· Saram AI — where applicable, for speech or narration-related services.
· Resend — where applicable, for transactional and digital emails.
We may also disclose information if required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of SEVI, our users, or others.
Some of our service providers may process data outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards and contractual protections for such transfers, as applicable.
We keep your account and learning data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it when no longer required, subject to applicable legal, accounting, security, and operational requirements. Transaction records may be retained for as long as required for accounting, legal, and tax purposes.

· Request correction of inaccurate data.
· Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to applicable legal or operational requirements.
· Object to or request restriction of certain processing where applicable.
· Receive your data in a portable format where applicable.

You may request deletion of your SEVI account and associated personal data through the account-deletion option provided in the app, where available, or by contacting us at the email address below. Certain information may need to be retained where required by law or necessary to complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or maintain required records.
We may use local storage, cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, provide necessary app or website functionality, and support checkout and fraud-prevention processes. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising unless stated otherwise in the Services.
SEVI is intended for exam aspirants aged 15 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age without the authorization or consent required under applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us so we can review the situation.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify users through the app or by email before material changes take effect, where appropriate.
