This was supposed to be a gift for a friend, but I never finished making it into the pretty box I had designed. Perfectionism Anxiety got the best of me and I managed to procrastinate until we weren't friends any more.

This as also supposed to be made into a cute little box for a friend. Modified from a pattern that had a collection of 4 long stem roses. And with all the colours substituted, as was my habit, trying to use up what I had been gifted instead of asking my mom to buy for me.

This is actually a pattern for bead weaving. I chose to replicate the effect of the pattern by staggering my stitches in every row. If you look carefully, you can see they're offset. It's also one of the first pieces I stitched using only 1 strand.

I know it's from a knitting book. I can tell you that much. But I was 12 when I photocopied it, so WHO KNOWS what book it was from. The pattern says "Embroidery for Sweater B" Lol. I wish this picture could give you the true sense of how absolutely minute this thing is. I remember thinking "Ooh, If I can learn to stitch EVEN SMALLER I can use even less thread and save my mom even more money.
This resulted in a piece 2cm x 3cm that I have no idea what to do with.
