Seungjoo Mun is a Korean-born, UK-based jewellery artist whose practice bridges the gap between sculptural form and wearable objects. Based in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, she explores visibility, structure, and transformation, challenging conventional notions of jewellery to reveal how objects act as carriers of deep-seated meaning.

After moving from South Korea to the UK, Seungjoo studied Jewellery and Objects at Birmingham City University’s School of Jewellery, graduating with First Class Honours. Her technical excellence and conceptual depth led to her current appointment as Artist in Residence (2025 – present) at the same institution.

As a member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery (ACJ), Seungjoo is actively engaged in the contemporary craft dialogue. Her work continues to expand the boundaries of wearable art through rigorous material research and a distinctive approach to form.
