I am a Professor of Linguistics at the International Christian University, a liberal arts college in Tokyo, Japan. I am also an Adjunct Professor of African Languages at the University of Venda in South Africa. Currently, I am the chair of the department of Psychology and Linguistics (2023.4-2027.3).
