SETIA 2024

The Symposium of Engineering, Technology & Industrial Applications 2024 (SETIA 2024) is organized by the College of Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam under the 2nd International Congress of Engineering & Technology 2024 (ICET 2024) and will be held physically on 4th-5th September 2024 at Hotel Mardhiyyah, Shah Alam.

For SETIA 2024, the conference is in conjunction with UiTM's annual International Congress on Engineering and Technology (click here to go ICET 2024 homepage).

SETIA 2024 is a platform for pitching your idea and technology solutions among research scholars, delegates, academicians, students, and industrial practitioners from different universities, agencies, and regions in advancing engineering, technology, and industrial applications and practices for a sustainable future. The range of focused topics in SETIA 2024 includes technology solutions in Civil, Structure, and Environmental Engineering; Material, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design & Technology; Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Information Technology; Aerospace and Transportation; Chemical Engineering & Sustainable Energy; and Engineering Education. The submitted manuscript will be presented/ pitched in POSTER ONLY (PHYSICALLY) and evaluated for GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE and SPECIAL AWARDS.

The authors must prepare their EXTENDED ABSTRACT in Microsoft Word during the registration.
The extended abstract should be written only using the template and format provided.
The extended abstract needs to demonstrate clear technology solutions, innovation, invention, design, and contributions to Engineering, Technology, and Industrial Applications.
The extended abstract can contain illustrations (figures, tables, formulations, or images) and embed the text.
INDEXED PROCEEDING: For publication in the indexed proceedings (ICET2024), please prepare your extended abstract between 4-6 pages. All pages should be numbered. Click here: link to download the template.
NON-INDEXED PUBLICATION (e-ISBN): For publication in the non-indexed publication, please prepare your extended abstract between 2-4 pages. All pages should be numbered. Click here: link to download the template.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

All accepted papers MUST be presented in POSTER PHYSICALLY. This is crucial as unpresented poster will cause the rejection of the extended abstract publication.
Authors MUST prepare the POSTER using the template provided (Click here to download the template). The size of the poster is A0.
The authors can design the content of the poster based on their own creativities.
Authors need to print their own poster (with hanger as shown in Figure 2) and present on the symposium day. Any related document can also be displayed during the day.
All posters will be pitched and evaluated by the appointed judges for the GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE and SPECIAL AWARDS .
All participants will be provided with 1 poster stand (as shown in Figure 1), and 1 chair during the symposium.
