April / May Campaign:  Impact Statements

Printed post cards will be forthcoming to those supportive campuses.  But, take matters into your own hands--print back to back, make YOUR statement and mail--share the 2nd with a friend! 

March Campaign - NOW CLOSED

Don't Cut Our Wages Campaign for Women's History Month - Signed or Anonymous:  

This campaign runs through the end of March; in addition, all resources and time invested must be personal:

1.  Card stock copies of the postcard below have been hand delivered to a handful of campuses - EMCC,  Gateway, GCC and MCC to include collection @ each site--this decision was based on time and willingness.  Postcard Instructions - 

1. Fill out postcard:

   1. Add your own short personal note to the postcard (similar to the Padlet wall example from our website), preferably before or after your regularly scheduled shift.

   2. Sign with first name, full name, or whatever you feel comfortable with.

   3. Check appropriate box at the bottom of the postcard

2. Return postcards - choose one of the following:

   1. Return to the designated person/location:
      Designated person:  Christine Kilbridge @ CGCC; Nikol Price @ EMCC; Beth Malapanes @ Gateway; Sheila Afnan-Manns @ MCC and Ed McKennon  @ GCC

   2. Stamp and mail.

3. Distributing postcards:

   1. You may share postcards with others. Consider the following:

      1. Sharing peer to peer is best; consider any power or status differentials.

      2. Do NOT share with students, especially in your official capacity nor  engage in ‘advocacy’ work regarding Board actions while working; however, providing basic information about the issue to peers or colleagues may be permissible, especially before or after your shift.

      3. Do NOT use District resources to print as this may not be permissible.

      4. Feel free to distribute to neighbors or friends.

2.  For those of us outside of these campuses, there are the following 2 options: 

A. Print, complete and mail the .pdf below - once again, personal resources only; 

B. Add your "post it" to the Padlet below--Kande will print each post as well as a .png of the Padlet and mail via USPS to the Board.  NOTE: Download and use the "Adjunct Service Faculty at Maricopa" image as your "header" for your Padlet post as shown.
