3. Permissions and Data Usage To function as an FTP Server, the app requires specific permissions. These are used strictly for local functionality:

• Manage External Storage (All Files Access):

  • Purpose: This is the core feature of the app. It allows the app to function as an FTP server, enabling you to read, write, delete, and manage files on your device's storage via an FTP client.

  • Data Handling: All file operations are performed locally. The app does not upload your files to any cloud server unless you explicitly initiate a transfer using a connected FTP client.

• Network/Wi-Fi Connection Information:

  • Purpose: To determine your device's local IP address (e.g., 192.168.x.x) so it can be displayed to you for connection purposes.

  • Data Handling: This information is processed locally in RAM and is never shared.

• Notifications:

  • Purpose: To display a persistent notification while the server is running, ensuring the Android system does not kill the server process in the background.

• Wake Lock:

  • Purpose: To prevent the device CPU from sleeping while an FTP session is active, ensuring uninterrupted file transfers.

4. Security The app offers optional password protection for your local FTP server. We recommend setting a strong username and password to prevent unauthorized access by other users on your local Wi-Fi network.

5. Children’s Privacy Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. Since the app functions offline and collects no data, it is safe for all ages, but we do not target children as a primary audience.
