April is a pre-dental undergraduate student majoring in Biostatistics and Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry. In the lab, she is developing an individual-based model to investigate patterns of paternal sex-ratio bias and their evolutionary implications. Beyond her modeling work, April is interested in advancing technological innovations in dentistry through her involvement with the Adams School of Dentistry. She also contributes to Alzheimer’s research at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, where she applies statistical techniques to better understand disease progression.
